Goat cheese and spicy honey pizza

Goat cheese and spicy honey pizza
  • Ingredients

    • 125 ml (½ cup) Rao's pizza sauce 
    • 675 g store-bought pizza dough (frozen or fresh)
    • 150 g (1½ cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 75 g creamy goat cheese 
    • 1 cup assorted coloured cherry tomatoes, halved  
    • 45 ml (3 tbsp) chopped fresh basil 
    • 1 clove garlic, minced  
    • 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil  
    • 15 ml (1 tbsp) spicy honey 
    • Salt and pepper
  • Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 230 °C (450 °F).
    2. Prepare the topping by mixing the cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, olive oil, and spicy honey in a bowl.  
    3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Place the dough on an 18-inch round pizza pan.
    4. Pour and spread the pizza sauce. Add the mozzarella and goat cheese, then place the cherry tomato topping on the pizza.  
    5. Bake for 18 to 24 minutes.  
    6. Add freshly ground pepper and a little fresh basil. 
    7. Cut into 8 slices and serve.

Tips and tricks

  • This pizza can be served hot or cold!
  • You can replace Rao's pizza sauce with Rao's four-cheese sauce.
