Pizza for meat lovers
  • Ingredients

    • 125 ml (½ cup) Rao's pizza sauce
    • 675 g store-bought pizza dough (frozen or fresh)
    • 200 g (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 75 g sliced pepperoni
    • 5 slices bacon
    • 100 g smoked meat
  • Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).  
    2. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cook the bacon and pepperoni slices until crispy. Place on paper towels. 
    3. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). 
    4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Place the dough on an 18-inch round pizza pan. 
    5. Add the tomato sauce, then the pepperoni. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Place the smoked meat and crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.  
    6. Bake for 18 to 24 minutes.  
    7. Cut into 8 slices and serve.

Tips and tricks

  • Smoked meat can be replaced with smoked beef brisket, ham, or sausage.
  • Serve pizza sauce on the side for dipping the crusts!
