Rao's Arrabbiata Sauce with Steamed Mussels

Rao's Arrabbiata Sauce with Steamed Mussels
  • Ingredients

    • 2 Cups Rao's Arrabbiata Sauce
    • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 1 Cup Onion-Sliced 
    • 4 Cloves Garlic-Sliced
    • 2lbs Mussels
    • 1 Cup White Wine
    • ½ tsp Salt
    • 3 Tbsp Fresh Basil
    • 4 Slices Focaccia Bread
  • Directions

    Add oil to a large pot. Sauté onions and garlic for 2 mins on med heat. Add mussels and turn heat up to high. Add white wine and cook for 1 min. Next add Rao's Arrabbiata Sauce, salt and basil. Place the lid on the pot and cook at high heat for 4-6 mins or until all the mussels have opened. 

    While mussels are cooking. Grilled your focaccia bread.

    When mussels are cooked, place them in a bowl and pour the sauce over top. Share with someone you love!
